Come See the Huskers at the Fairbury FFA Alumni/Husker Hoops Red-Blue Game
Tickets are now available for the annual Red-Blue Game -- a basketball game between the University of Nebraska Senior Football Players and a community team -- on Sunday, February 24 at 4:00 pm in the Fairbury High School Gym. The annual event is sponsored by the Fairbury FFA Alumni to support the Fairbury FFA in agricultural activities.
Come see senior Husker Football players in a game of basketball against our local community team. Participants in this year’s Husker Hoops program include: Tim Marlowe, Ben Cotton, Kyler Reed, Sean Fisher, Alonzo Whaley, Steven Osborne, Graham Stoddard, Micah Kreikemeier, Jase Dean, Conor Mcdermott, Matt Menninger, Taylor Dixon, KC Hyland, Seung Choi, and Brett Maher. Although not all of these Huskers may be available, about 10 of them will be here to play.
There will be an autograph session at half time and following the game.
Tickets are $5 each in advance or at the door. Tickets are available this year at: Farm Bureau Financial Services, Fairbury Chamber of Commerce, Ray’s Applemarket, the Bob and Wauneta Burkley Wellness Center, and Fairbury High School. Tickets may also be purchased by elementary students in Fairbury at Central or Jefferson Schools by bringing a ticket request form to school with their ticket money.
