Norris Public Power District Crews Working on Outages

(BEATRICE) – Norris Public Power District reports about 1,400 customers scattered throughout the district were without electricity, as of 10 a-m, today.

Administrative Coordinator Emily Shockley says high winds and heavy, wet snow was causing lines to gallop, causing power problems.

Norris crews were working on outage areas and were expecting to continue to work on restoring power into the evening.

Norris serves customers in Gage, Jefferson, Lancaster, Saline and Thayer Counties.
