A joint Southeast Community College and Lincoln Public Schools Career Center is coming in under budget.

A progress report on the SCC Lincoln Campus project was given to the college’s board of governors, Tuesday in Beatrice.  Favorable weather has helped crews finish replacement of a parking area.  About 35 percent of the geothermal work is completed.  Footings have been poured for part of the career center and utilities are being installed.

L-P-S Facilities Manager Scott Wieskamp says the guaranteed maximum price approved on the project was about $22.75 million.  Five groups of components of the work are being bid separately.
